Toy Mania in US

Since my visit to USA three years back, I am becoming increasingly restless about the way the toy industry is handling American children.
The toys there are a weird mixture of Dianosors, robots and magic. The general aim of toy is fight. Children are required to learn funny distorted words and characters, made to believe impossible and create false image of science as almighty which can do anything. The children are subjected to market propaganda to make them dreamy, intolerable and without the knowledge of outside world.I was surprised to find that children's books and movies also have been totally captureed by toy industry. Harry Potter's success is one example of the mood. Even too much stress on robotics and war technics make the children aggressive. If the new generation is forced into this mentality with business interests, where are we leading to.Western people used to criticise false magic of arebian nights and animal stories in Panchtantra, Ramayana and other religious stories as fake and of poor quality, what is the sum and substance of present day toys and children's books. Ther should be serious thinking by educationists about this entertainment method with possible dire consequenses in future.
